WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is God's Universal Life Force Energy.  We All have Life Force Energy naturally flowing through each and every one of us. This is what keeps us alive. When we are sick and unwell, Our Energy Channels within the Body become blocked and Our Natural Life Force Energy becomes depleted. Reiki Helps to Open Up and Clear the blockages and increase the Level of Life Force Energy flowing through Our Body - thereby Helping to Stimulate Our Body's Own Natural Self Healing Mechanisms from Within in order to Help bring Back and Restore Balance, Function and Optimum Health and Wellbeing.

Reiki is brought in and administered by a Licensed Reiki Practitioner either in person with the Recipient via hands on (or off) Healing, or Reiki can be sent remotely to anyone that is a fair distance away from the Practitioner (eg; as the Recipient could be living in a different city or a different country). My Reiki is always sent Remotely.

WHAT CONDITIONS CAN BE TREATED?

Reiki in general has the Ability to treat All conditions - either in a Major way or a Minor way.  Reiki is an Intelligent, Subtle energy that goes to where it is needed. It will Help Kickstart Natural Healing Processes within the Recipient's body if this is for the Recipient's Highest Good.

From a Spiritual Perspective, we have illness in the body as the body is communicating that there is an imbalance somewhere.  Once the imbalance(s) have been corrected, Healing will take place.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

After a Reiki session, we all go through a Purifying and Cleansing process, which is very similar to a detox, except that the detox is happening on All Levels of our being - Physically, Emotionally, Mentally, and Spiritually. And as Everyone is Unique and Individual, We All experience different detox symptoms at varying points on our Healing journey. 

These include but are not limited to: aches and pains, headaches, fatigue, change in bowel motions, emotional upsets, mood swings, change in appetite, change in sleep patterns, cold or flu symptoms etc.  Drinking water, taking it easy on yourself and resting when your body tells you to, Helps with managing these detox effects.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IN A SESSION?

All my Reiki sessions are sent remotely only. Meaning, the Recipient does not need to be physically present with me in order for Reiki sessions to take place.  Sending Reiki remotely is very similar to sending someone some Very Special Prayers.  And because the Reiki is sent remotely, one can go about their daily and nightly tasks and routines as per normal. 

After Reiki has been sent, you can expect to experience some or no detox symptoms at all (as described in FAQ Question "Are there any side effects?").  You may feel At Peace, you may have a sense of Calmness about you, you may have vivid dreams or visions the night or week following a Reiki session.  Most times however, you may experience nothing at all. This does not mean that nothing is happening, no quite the opposite.  I can assure you that quite A LOT will be happening on a very deep level that we can't even see, feel, hear or understand, until we start to see evidence of Positive Changes happening both within Ourselves and in Our lives.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WOULD I NEED?

Once you book for Reiki with Me, I send you Multiple Reiki Sessions over a period of 2 weeks. I also send you some Guidelines via email that can Help You to Heal Yourself Well.  It is Highly Recommended that You read and adhere to these Guidelines as Best as You can for Better Healing for You. The Guidelines are emailed out to the contact email address you supply in your booking.

Providing there is good adherence to these Guidelines, it is expected that you would only require these Reiki sessions that are sent to you over this standard 2-week period - at the most.

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?

Results are not guaranteed and are dependent on many factors including but not limited to the severity of the medical condition(s), the level of compliance with the Guidelines that are emailed out, along with other factors that you or I may not be able to anticipate.

IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO BEFORE OR AFTER A SESSION?

Before a session: It is Ideal to be Open and Receptive to the Healing Energies about to come your way.  If you are requesting Healing on behalf of a Loved one who may be unconscious (due to coma), do not worry, their Soul, on a deep level, will know how to receive it and what to expect, even though they themselves will not consciously understand or remember it when they are awake.  

After a session: It is recommended that you be gentle on yourself.  Drink water to Help assimilate the Reiki Energy and listen to your body as to what it needs, it will tell you (eg; fatigue for rest or sleep, hunger for food - make sure it is healthy nutritious food.  Feeling pain?  Slow down, take some pain medication). Please also be sure to take your normal medication and treatment as advised by your Registered Medical or Mental Health Professional.

For those who are on life support: For before, during and after Reiki is sent - It Is Very Important that life support NOT be turned off.  This gives Reiki a chance to get in there and Help.  Keep life support on until signs of improvement can be seen and you have been given the all clear from Doctors that your Loved One can sustain their own life without the need for life support machines. 

For those who are at end stage cancer and not on life support: It Is Very Important that you have the right amount of best pain relief possible, including any antibiotics for infection, to help make Recipient as comfortable as possible, while Reiki is in there Helping out. 

WHAT INFO DO I NEED TO SUPPLY FOR REIKI WITH YOU?

My Booking Form asks All the required standard information I need from you (eg; Name, DOB, Address etc). However there are 2 Other Important Requirements that I also need from You - in order for My Style of Reiki to be sent - as it Helps with Healing the Whole of the Person Greatly. They Are:

1) Consent from Reiki Recipient (18 years of age and above). Consent from Next-of-Kin/Spouse/Close Family Member/Friend is fine in the meantime, however please do read the note about Consent below.

2) Reiki Recipient agrees to read and adhere to the emailed Guidelines as best as possible. The Guidelines are emailed after you have made your Booking. Those who consent on Recipient's behalf must be the ones to Help Recipient adhere or at least make them aware that they need to adhere as best as possible to the Guidelines as this will Greatly Help with their Healing.

A NOTE ABOUT CONSENT: Consent from all Reiki recipients (18 years of age and above) is required in order to receive Reiki from me. Once consent is given this indicates to me that they are Willing and Open to receiving the Healing energies about to come their way.

Parents and Legal Guardians may provide Parental/Guardian consent for their Dependent children who are under the age of 18, and still living at home. 

Independent children under the age of 18 who are living independently away from their Parents/Guardians are able to Consent for themselves.

If obtaining consent is not possible, eg; as Recipient is in a coma, then consent from Next-of-Kin/Spouse/Close Family Member/Friend will be sufficient in the meantime. I can still send the Reiki, but please just be aware that because they have not personally consented to it, their Soul may not be open to receiving the Reiki Healing. Therefore in these cases one must be aware and acknowledge that the Reiki may not work.

In cases where your Loved one has not personally consented to receiving Reiki AND does not wish to receive the Reiki, then Next-of-Kin/Spouse/Close Family Member/Friend must respect their wishes and NOT obtain Reiki Service from Me on their behalf. Even though you have well meaning good intentions, it is your Loved One’s right to accept or not accept Reiki into their life, and we all must Accept and Respect that.

WHAT ABOUT TAKING CURRENT MEDICATIONS AND TREATMENTS?

Reiki is a Perfectly Safe and Natural form of Healing which will not interfere with any medications or treatments you may be taking.  Therefore, I recommend any current medications and treatments prescribed by your Registered Medical or Mental Health Professional(s) are still taken as instructed.  Reiki is the perfect complement, and works very well in conjunction with conventional medicine.
